Although CreekWest began in 2023, The Nielsen Brothers have provided construction services to over 1,500 projects under their company TKL Construction incorporated in 2011 within the city of Calgary & surrounding areas with scopes including; Construction landscaping, basement foundations, detached garage construction, home renovations, framing, rough and finish carpentry for both residential and commercial projects.

Through the process of building their own custom homes for their families, they recognized that the purchase and building of a home is not only the largest investment a family will make but also the most stressful. Client centered, transparency & flexibility in both financing, and design were hard to come by and needed to be provided to clients.

CreekWest was founded in 2023 by Tylor & Mackenzie Nielsen as a means to both fill a need for families looking to build and finance homes that work for THEM, and take the next step in their professional goals to manage full residential projects from start to finish.

Over the past 13 years in the industry the duo have  grown their business and their families which has allowed them to identify areas of required improvement within residential construction and have set goals to;

• Work with the Village of Beiseker to attract population and further develop the community through developer initiatives.

• Work closely with our clients to offer flexibility and transparency during the building process.
